one of my favorite desserts since i watched the god father “leave the gun take the cannoli”  ❤

cannoli is originally a sicilian pastry dessert, and what can one imagine better than sicilian food ^_^ cannoli in brief is a hard shell cylindrical shaped fried pastry, filled with rich tasty dreamy creamy filling, mixed with ricotta cheese and decorated with cherry (or crushed pistachios) on both ends! the result …………. > a heavenly piece of italian delicacy.

walking in the little alleys of rome we came across a bakery, we just had to stop! thats were i found the wonderful delicious cannoli! i didn’t catch the name, but it was around piazza Navona.

good luck finding it ;P

i doubt any one would wanna prepare home made cannoli, but if interested i found a nice recipe online 😉 enjoooy
